Robert Chen

As Vice President of Finance, Robert Chen is responsible for reporting accurate and timely financial information that is vital to continuously improving Superior’s internal controls, reducing indirect costs, and eliminating wasteful spending in order to augment the company’s overall operational efficiency.

The information and advice Robert provides plays a critical role in ensuring Superior achieves an increase in sales, profitability, and return of capital. He is also responsible for the development of Activity-Based profitability reporting, performance metrics, logistics business, financial budgets, and forecasts.

After graduating from the University of California Los Angeles with a BA in Economics and Finance, Robert went on to earn his MBA in Accounting, Operations, and Information Management from the University of Southern California.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys a number of activities that include skiing, tennis, motor sports, tropical fish, professional football, boxing, and martial arts.
