Warehousing
With more than 225,000 square feet of warehousing and production space at our Irwindale, CA campus we are able to house and manage multiple inventories, including raw materials for use in private label packaging, manufacturer retail-packaged items, pre-packed finished goods and customer-owned inventories. 
Dedicated carousels hold finished goods to support quick fulfillment to the indirect channel, while a two-tier pick tower stores split case items in support of direct fulfillment to consumers.
We also have more than 5,000 positions for pallet loads. All warehouse space is bonded and secured.
Materials Handling
Custom-designed by our team for maximum efficiency, our main Distribution Center includes 18 standard dock doors for receiving and shipping. Horizontal transport of pallet loads is facilitated by forklift, with palletized finished goods moving by conveyor through shipping. Small items are vertically transported along a half-mile of conveyors with auto-routing to relevant workstations for labeling, packing and shipping. Our automated Warehouse Management System provides real-time inventory tracking and wireless data capture with serialization capabilities, including continuous location, history and disposition tracking.
Fulfillment
Superior fulfills to distribution centers, retail locations and direct to the consumer. On average, we can custom-pack and ship up to 150,000 units per shift, and run two shifts daily, Monday through Friday.
We can add weekend shifts when necessary. As a “just-in-time” supplier, most orders can be processed, assembled and shipped within 72 hours. Orders for items in our pre-packed inventories to support the indirect channel and consumers may be shipped in less than 24 hours. Orders can be packed according to customer specifications including custom pallet configurations and labeling. This includes the option for transparent fulfillment in which the Superior name does not appear on paperwork to the recipient.
Shipping
We ship truckloads via customer-preferred carrier, though Superior’s own shipping contracts often provide customers with a better price and terms. We also ship e-containers and cartons, and guarantee all wholesale shipments to the East Coast in three days. For direct fulfillment to consumers, USPS software verifies addresses prior to shipping. Our systems support tracking packages through multiple third party carriers.
